New Dates for 2019
Feis Rois Inbhich
Adult Feis in Ullapool @ 4th – 6th May 2019
I am teaching at the Adult Feis in Ullapool! Hurray for going back to the roots that set you forth on your journey and with such a lovely group of tutors – it will be a very good weekend! I will have complete beginners in the morning and Upper Intermediate/Advanced in the afternoon. I will admit to my feelings being hurt the last few weeks as too many people joked with me “You’re too scary!” Hmmm. I hope some folk sign up because I am not in the least bit scary. Soft and rounded, I am.

Solas Festival

I am leading a singing day and there is a lovely discount on offer if you and your choir or group of pals want to come up and sing together!
In order to make their Super Choir happen, Solas Festival is offering a whopping 60% discount to anyone singing up as part of a choir or group of 10 singers. That makes weekend tickets just £50 and day tickets just £20. Getting involved is as easy as 1,2,3.
1) If you sing in a choir or have a group of singers in mind – propose a summer trip to Solas at your next rehearsal
2) Gather a list of names
3) Send to debs@solasfestival.co.uk to arrange your tickets.

Moon Dragon Babies
@ Pleasant Courtyard, Edinburgh 31st July – 26th August 2019
Come and visit Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August with your wee toots!
Moon Dragon Babies – for Under 1’s https://edinburghfestival.list.co.uk/event/1272440-moon-dragon-babies-for-under-1s/
This interactive show, written especially for babies aged one and under, tells the story of Bertie the Moon Dragon who misses his cue to send the Moon up into the night sky. With the help of our young audience, some very chatty owls and the most magnificent unicorn ever to have been seen on the Edinburgh Fringe, can we all pull together to save the night? This show is perfectly interactive for this age group with all senses being explored. Audience will play a range of percussion instruments and with lots of sensory materials.
Moon Dragon – for 5’s and under https://edinburghfestival.list.co.uk/event/1271868-moon-dragon-for-5-and-under/
Bertie the Moon Dragon is having a terrible day! Nothing is as it should be. However, all is not yet lost, as with the help of the audience and some wonderful characters along the way to help him, Bertie can ensure that the night will be saved, and all can return just as it should be. This original preschool production aimed at under 5s is a must for families this Fringe. The audience interacts throughout the show with lights, dressing up and lots of percussion to add to the magic of the story.

Harp Village 10th anniversary!
@ Cromarty Arts Trust on the Black Isle
Friday 20th (eve), Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September 2019
This is a special weekend of music and all things harp held at the Brewery and the Stables in Cromarty with an informal concert from the tutors on the Friday night, workshops through Saturday and Sunday and with a session on the Sat night. With myself, Rachel Newton, Izzie Pendlebury and Mary Macmaster taking Cheyenne Brown’s place this year due to an unforeseen (and totally welcome!) clash of dates. This year we made the decision to have no beginner class. This is to allow us to split the larger classes into smaller more focussed groups and make sure all classes will receive a specially crafted workshop from each tutor.
